  • Conduct and document preventative and productive maintenance on both GMP and non-GMP facility systems.
  • Perform regular quality checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist in training newly hired maintenance technicians on the job.
  • Identify immediate and potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to report and resolve them.
  • Execute and manage daily and weekly work orders, maintenance tasks, and written reports with minimal supervision.
  • Organize and maintain tools and equipment necessary for job performance.
  • Coordinate and support contractors working on building systems and related equipment.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in the daily operations of repair and maintenance.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained.
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to troubleshoot issues for optimal outcomes.
  • Be available for a varied on-call schedule, which may include evenings, nights, weekends, or other non-routine hours as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficient understanding of facility systems, including HVAC, compressed gases, water systems (e.g., purified water, steam), electrical systems, and automation/controls.
  • Ability to assemble and inspect equipment effectively.
  • Capability to assess equipment failures and devise successful action plans.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow operation manuals.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with hands-on technical skills.
  • Awareness of safety protocols and proper safety behavior.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tools and equipment utilized in the role.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changes effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in building maintenance or a related field is required.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, particularly in a cGMP environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be physically capable of working throughout facilities.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, or climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in environments with extreme temperatures as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must carry and maintain personal vehicle insurance.
Compensation is commensurate with the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

Benefits Summary: Employees accrue over four weeks of paid time off annually.
