Our Transportation Technologies team is dedicated to delivering Total Quality Assurance, ensuring our clients can progress confidently and securely. We are recognized globally for our expertise in automotive, battery, energy storage, and transportation industry testing and certification, helping manufacturers meet and surpass quality, safety, sustainability, and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site assessments of products to verify compliance with relevant standards. Responsibilities include:
    • Interpreting national codes and standards (UL/IEC) applicable to the equipment under test (EUT);
    • Understanding client-specified or published performance and safety standards;
    • Reviewing schematics and manufacturing guidelines;
    • Confirming project scope and sample relevance;
    • Identifying necessary testing instruments and equipment;
    • Executing established test plans;
    • Setting up and operating EUT, performing necessary repairs;
    • Conducting thorough inspections and documenting findings;
    • Performing various tests including Battery Cycling, Vibration, Temperature/Humidity cycles, and more.
  • Utilize standard testing equipment such as Battery Cyclers, Temperature/Humidity Chambers, and Programmable Power Supplies. Employ hand tools for building and calibrating test fixtures.
  • Ensure proper sample handling and documentation throughout the testing process.
  • Compile and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for review.
  • Maintain communication with clients and internal teams regarding project status and outcomes.
  • Document and recommend engineering decisions within established guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in battery testing.
  • Familiarity with automotive and international performance standards.
  • Understanding of battery performance and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
