We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified graduate student to serve as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Civil and Geomatics Engineering at Fresno State.
Key Responsibilities- Provide classroom instruction and manage the learning environment
- Develop and implement course design and assignment sequences
- Prepare course materials and activities to enhance student learning
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Assist students outside of class during office hours and by appointment
- Participate in programmatic assessment procedures
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Admission to the Civil Program in the Department of Civil and Geomatics, in good academic standing
- Enrollment in at least 6-units for the semester or in two courses toward the degree
- Demonstrated satisfactory progress towards the degree
- Ability to relate well with others within the academic environment
- Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds
