About the Role

Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled Infection Control Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our infection prevention and control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to identify risk factors associated with hospital-acquired infections
  • Develop and implement evidence-based infection control practices to prevent and control the spread of infections
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote a culture of safety and quality
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection control best practices
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infection control practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, or Nursing, or Master's Degree in Public Health
  • 2 years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting or 2 years of experience as an MT in clinical microbiology or MPH in a related area
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is preferred
