About the Role

Mercy Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other physicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Contribute to the training and education of new staff members and assist in the oversight of MRI students.
  • Provide direct patient care and instructions before, during, and after procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues to radiology maintenance/supervisor.
Requirements
  • Certification and Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of experience in an MRI department in a hospital setting.
