About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Norwood MA HOS, providing music therapy services to patients in hospice care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide music therapy sessions to patients in hospice care, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement music therapy plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient eligibility for music therapy services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable automobile for travel to patient locations.
