Position Overview

The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper is in search of an Associate Attorney possessing a minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on insurance defense. Experience in handling personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury claims is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and respond to significant pleadings, motions, and discovery in cases related to catastrophic injury and bad faith claims.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex issues.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
  • Engage in client meetings and negotiate settlements effectively.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Adapt and perform efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy skills.
  • Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing, required.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
