Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at MISSION SPINE CENTER. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and conducting patient histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire date
  • Active and unrevoked certification/ABR-OE credentials highly preferred
