Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to our healthcare team at Asheville Cardiology Assoc. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining patient histories.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
  • Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials highly preferred.
