Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery. This is a permanent position that offers stability and growth opportunities within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and address equipment malfunctions or abnormalities in a timely manner.
- Utilize your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and industrial maintenance to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs is essential.
- Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Excellent understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and ability to perform routine inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and rectify equipment malfunctions.
- Proactive approach towards safety and ability to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergencies or urgent maintenance requests.
