Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team at The Tri-M Group, LLC. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers by testing and maintaining building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with field service visits and preventive maintenance checkouts of electronic systems.
  • Test electronic devices to determine cause of failure and complete paperwork to process material repairs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the service shop and perform quarterly inventory of in-house and truck stock.
  • Assist in check-out/start-up of installed systems and perform troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education in a related field is desirable.
  • Ability to learn to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and control drawings, specifications, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical trade and applicable electrical codes as they apply to building automation systems.
  • Ability to work a frequently changing schedule to meet customer demands and possess good customer service skills.
