Career Opportunity: Senior Property Accountant
CRM Residential is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements for our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and guide Property Staff Accountants
- Maintain work papers and assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns
- Review monthly bank reconciliations
- Record and review monthly adjusting, prepaid and accrual entries
- Monitor cash balances and recommend capital calls and distributions from/to investors
- Review monthly financial statement analysis according to GAAP
- Assist in month and annual variance analysis
- Compile monthly financial statement package with required supporting documentation
- Distribute financials to lenders/owners
- Assist in annual budget preparation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting required
- Strong communication skills, good work ethic, analytical thinking
- Accuracy and timeliness in the completion of the workload
- Experience in the real estate/property management field preferred
- RealPage experience preferred
