Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

Acenda Integrated Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Visitation Support Specialist to join our team in Glassboro, New Jersey. As a key member of our Supportive Visitation Services Program, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children in need.

As a Visitation Support Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating visits between parents and resource parents, transporting children to and from visits, and supervising visits in a safe and supportive environment. You will also facilitate meaningful visits through visit prep discussions and post-visit debriefing, while providing timely communication to stakeholders regarding visitation information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate visits between parents and resource parents and transport children to and from visits
  • Supervise visits in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the safety of children during visits
  • Facilitate meaningful visits through visit prep discussions and post-visit debriefing
  • Provide timely communication to stakeholders regarding visitation information
  • Empower parents to manage challenging behaviors in their children

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with children and families, particularly those affected by trauma
  • Degree in counseling or a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances
