About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic team at Nebraska Medicine, a 600-bed acute care hospital with a world-renowned cancer center. This part-time position will work approximately 16-20 hours per week with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Diet Office, ensuring dietary compliance and managing menu requests.
  • Supervise kitchen production, assembly, and delivery of patient trays.
  • Participate in client Dietetic Internship selection and training program.
  • Assist in managing quality assurance and performance improvement.
  • Oversee compliance with on-site daycare food regulations and menu planning.
  • Conduct nutrition education and assessments as needed at an off-site location.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice.
  • Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • 7+ months of general supervision experience.
  • 3 years of experience as a specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty.
