Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in the development and growth of our clinicians, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach, mentor, and coach clinicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs to support the growth and development of our clinicians.
  • Collaborate with branch leaders and patient-facing clinicians to ensure a smooth and effective orientation process for new hires.
  • Model regulatory compliance and standards, ensuring that all clinicians are aware of and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide oversight and education to ensure effective collaboration with healthcare providers in accordance with physician's orders and plan of care.
  • Act as a liaison and maintain communication with new hires, peer mentors, and branch leaders to ensure a seamless transition into the role.
  • Continually work to create a culture of learning and support for clinicians as they gain confidence and competence in their respective roles.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Unrestricted RN or PT license in work state assigned.
  • 2 or more years of home health experience.
  • HCHB (Homecare Homebase) PointCare experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in OASIS accuracy; OASIS certification preferred.
  • Prior nurse/therapy or educator experience preferred.
  • Instructor-led teaching experience utilizing virtual platforms: Zoom/Teams.

  • Works well in collaborative team environments.
  • Displays effective communication, interpersonal skills, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Possesses effective teaching skills and desire to mentor and develop clinicians.
  • Creates a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to learning.
  • Ability to assess the learning needs and skills of the new clinician/student and provide immediate and ongoing feedback.
  • Ability to validate the performance of a new clinician/student and to provide effective feedback to clinician/student and leaders in the location.
Travel Requirements

Less than 10% travel required.

Pay and Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $76,800 - $105,800 per year, with opportunities for bonuses and career advancement.
