Job Overview:

  • Execute a range of MRI imaging procedures to generate detailed cross-sectional images for clinical evaluation.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care strategies.
  • Prioritize patient safety and engage with the MRI team to promote quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Administer care, prepare, and position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images utilizing MRI technology.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of MRI methodologies and principles.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Kaleida Health.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited ARRT Certification Program.
  • Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy examination.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in MRI.
  • Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT MR) certification within 3 years.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Must possess necessary licenses/certifications upon hire or transfer.
  • Must achieve MRI certification within 3 years of employment or transfer.

Work Environment:

  • Employment Status: Per Diem
  • Work Shift: Variable
  • Scheduled Hours: Variable
  • Compensation Range: $36.77 - $46.54 per hour
  • Job Grade: T17
