Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in the logistics and distribution processes at Lund Inc. This position encompasses responsibilities related to receiving, storing, and managing inventory, as well as preparing products for shipment. Key tasks include receiving deliveries, organizing stock, conducting inventory checks, and efficiently packing and shipping orders using industrial equipment.

Temporary Employees will enjoy benefits such as eligibility for 401K, basic medical coverage after a specified period, paid holidays, referral bonuses, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. There is potential for Temporary Employees to transition to Permanent Employees within the first year.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare items for warehouse movement, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, labeling, and wrapping.
  • Safely operate powered equipment following certification protocols.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any discrepancies.
  • Assemble kits from component parts, package, label, and maintain accurate records.
  • Pick, pack, and ship products according to customer specifications.
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
  • Scan and label palletized items for loading.
  • Process returns and update inventory records accordingly.
  • Assist in training new employees and ensure a clean working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

· High school diploma is mandatory.

· 6-12 months of relevant experience or training is required; 2-5 years is preferred.

· Previous experience operating forklifts is advantageous.

Required Licenses

· A valid driver's license is preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Proficient in using pallet jacks and tape guns.
  • Basic computer literacy is essential.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting documents, performing basic arithmetic, and composing reports.

Travel

· No travel is required.

Exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments.
