Restaurant Depot - Asset Protection Associate
The Asset Protection Associate (APA) plays a vital role as an hourly team member.

The APA is responsible for effectively managing and overseeing asset security at the front end within a specific branch.

This position reports directly to the branch manager and collaborates with the Operational team as well as cross-functional teams across the organization.

This is a site-based role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and execute initiatives to prepare product carts, identifying concealed items and label discrepancies.
2. Achieve results through policy enforcement, education, and strategies aimed at minimizing losses at the front end.

3. Act as a subject matter expert on critical issues contributing to shrinkage, including improper product keying, case/unit discrepancies, and quantity key usage.

4. Analyze data, perform audits, and identify trends to formulate actionable plans that mitigate risks.

5. Maintain confidentiality regarding security and personnel matters within the workplace.

6. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse customer base.

7. Train and orient new cashiers, managers, and employees in the asset protection culture.

8. Develop projects aimed at continuously enhancing front-end physical security, processes, standards, training, and policies to achieve a reduction in losses.

9. Promote and implement security best practices.

10. Audit the physical security infrastructure (including access control, surveillance cameras, and fire exit doors) to ensure all alarm systems are operational.

11. Availability to work weekends and/or overnight shifts as required.

12. Work in an industrial setting that necessitates walking up to 5 miles daily and the capability to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
