Job Summary:
Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced delivery driver to transport petroleum products to customers in the Mountain Home area. This role requires a valid Class A or B CDL and a minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong time-management and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle, primarily class A or B trucks, to ensure safe and efficient transportation of petroleum products.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee the vehicle's safety and mechanical soundness.
  • Load and unload products according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Deliver products to customers' locations in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Resolve any customer concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure own and others' safety.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations for transporting hazardous materials.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
