Yosemite Mountain Barista

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in California. As a vital member of our hospitality staff, you will provide exceptional guest service by mastering coffee knowledge and recipes, educating colleagues and customers, and preparing beverages according to brand specifications.

Please note that this is a tipped position, and the hourly minimum pay listed does not include any potential tipped earnings.

About Tenaya Lodge

Located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park, Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort surrounded by beautiful trees and granite mountains. • Inform guests about additional items and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following all health, safety, and proper sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in opening or closing of the location.
• Perform clean-up duties, including cleaning equipment.
• Record all transactions via the point of sale system; maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift.
• Collect money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
  • Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of shift.
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.

Estimated Salary Range: $12-$18 per hour (depending on experience)
