Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and equipment.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service and annual shutdown.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some HVAC experience.
  • Experience maintaining large industrial equipment and the ability to read blueprints/schematics.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
  • Working knowledge or experience repairing or maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Welding, fabricating, and rigging experience.
  • Experience inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and within a team unit.
  • Prior experience successfully working with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Must be highly motivated and have strong attention to detail.
Physical Work Requirements

This position involves regular bending and lifting; continuous standing for long periods of time; pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy parts and machines.
