Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Lead and coordinate projects concerning new facilities, factory construction, refurbishments, equipment installations, layout designs, and process optimizations. Oversee capital expenditures, including Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams.
- Enhance expertise in a broad spectrum of Industrial Engineering methodologies and Lean practices, mentoring team members in the application of Lean principles.
- Streamline operations by analyzing process flow diagrams, suggesting workflow modifications, and formulating new operational procedures.
- Establish and oversee the timeline for industrial projects, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- This role demands a leader capable of recruiting and nurturing talent, including direct management responsibilities for staffing and performance enhancement. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of technical disciplines and analytical skills to implement policies and strategies.
- Possess an understanding of best practices and how the role integrates with other areas; maintain awareness of competitive factors and differentiators in the market.
- Exercise judgment and propose alternative solutions beyond established parameters to tackle complex manufacturing challenges involving technical diversity and interrelated production cycles. Leverage technical experience and analytical reasoning, utilizing various internal and limited external resources for decision-making.
- Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, potentially leading small-scale projects with minimal risks and resource needs. Communicate information effectively, developing skills to achieve team consensus on relevant topics. Set performance expectations and manage sensitive matters.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs. Established project management expertise.
