Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes, policies, and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure labor control, inbound/outbound metrics, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Manage the budget and P&L of the operation, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Partner with engineering to implement and maintain proper warehouse layout and product placement.
  • Perform quarterly and annual physical inventories, providing accurate inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with customers to maintain high levels of satisfaction through consistent communication and follow-up on concerns and requests.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, driving process excellence and innovation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team, ensuring staff are trained, motivated, and equipped to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of management experience in Third-Party Logistics (3PL) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Logistics or Transportation, or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with labor/workforce management and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Red Prairie, Manhattan, JDA, etc.).
  • Lean certifications preferred.
