Job Description: Experienced Cook Specialist

We are seeking an experienced cook specialist to join our Sunday River team. This individual will work closely with the Chef to prepare and cook high-quality meals for guests.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cooking and leadership, with 7-10 years of experience and a two-year degree or equivalent combination. They must be able to operate all stations of a kitchen, lead other cooks, and manage quality control.

Responsibilities include preparing stocks, soups, and sauces, making salads and dressings, and grilling meats to exact specifications. The cook specialist must also assist with recipe development, quality control, and supervising other kitchen personnel.

Compensation includes wages ranging from $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Benefits include free ski passes, resort discounts on dining and lodging, and eligibility for an end-of-season loyalty bonus. Estimated salary: $25-$28 per hour.
