Job Overview:

Soliant Education is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Educational Psychologist to become part of our dynamic team in Maplewood, Washington. This full-time role focuses on supporting middle and high school students (grades 6-12) at a single school location. While we strongly prefer in-person engagement, we are open to hybrid work arrangements for the right candidate. This position is structured as a 185-day contract, covering the complete academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Provide both individual and group counseling to enhance students' mental health and academic success.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school personnel to create and execute effective intervention strategies.
  • Engage in IEP meetings and assist in formulating educational and behavioral plans for students with special needs.
  • Tackle various psychological and emotional challenges that affect students' learning and overall well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Washington.
  • Experience with students in grades 6-12 is preferred.
  • Proficient in psychological assessment, counseling, and teamwork.
  • Able to work effectively in both in-person and hybrid environments if necessary.
