Job Title: Rotork Contracts Specialist

Rotork is seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our flow control and instrumentation team, you will be responsible for accurately entering orders into our system, including updates where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order entry and contractual activities from order receipt through shipment.
  • Liaison between all departments (sales, engineering, quality, production) within Rotork factories to ensure the fulfilment of customer requirements.
  • First point of contact for customer escalations, changes to scope, and requests to expedite delivery.
  • Provide technical phone support and serve as a resource for our customers, representatives, distributors, and Area Sales Managers to help promote Rotork.
  • Organize the working day to address priorities, meet customer expectations, and reduce internal delays.
  • Update all systems for accurate output forecasting and reporting.
  • Identify and resolve order queries with customers and ensure that their requirements are correctly interpreted and fully understood.
  • Liaise and use negotiation skills with both customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements.
  • Diligently and accurately carry out contract reviews of customer orders.
  • Work with the Quality department to resolve and investigate customer quality complaints, ensuring customer expectations are managed through to resolution.
  • Seek and implement improvements within your department and the wider company where appropriate.
  • Use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
  • Undertake any other job function as required by the Contracts Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Motivated self-starter able to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Able to quickly learn and utilize business software and internal programs.
  • Ability to interact with customers on a routine basis and must demonstrate a high level of Customer Service.
  • Must be thorough, accurate, and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills.

  • Good communication skills, customer focused, strong multitasker, and good at executing tasks.
  • Proactive approach to challenges in order to find solutions to customer issues.
