Part-Time Cake Decorator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cake Decorator to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #40. As a Part-Time Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, offering creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions, and selling our delicious cakes.

• Promptly greet and engage with guests, determining their interests and needs, and following our Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on our cake distinction, size, and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
• Suggest additional merchandise to complete a unique celebration.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system and invite guests to join our Email Club to benefit from special promotions and stay connected.
• Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assemble cake and balloon orders according to guest specifications for the given celebration and follow our cake decorating and presentation standards with precision.
• Prioritize workload according to schedule to ensure all orders are completed at the appropriate pick-up or delivery time, and craft all orders for walk-in guests.
• Prepare cake decorations, boxes, bows, and other packaging materials in advance to ensure requisite supplies are readily available for cake order demands.
• Monitor inventory of cake-crafting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate frosted and decorated cakes to ensure our standards are met and notify management of any quality control issues.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and our policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
