Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at Paulding Hospital. As an Assistant Nurse Manager for Surgical Services, you will play a key role in providing support and leadership to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assist with budget development and monitoring, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Participate in shared governance and decision-making processes, promoting a culture of transparency and open communication.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve staff recruitment and retention, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with a focus on surgical services.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement principles, with the ability to apply these principles in a real-world setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school.
  • National certification in nursing administration.
  • Experience in a leadership role, with a focus on surgical services.
