Dental Metrics Maven is seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Team Lead to join our team. As a leader in the field of dental hygiene, you will play a critical role in the growth and development of our hygiene team.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and passionate dental hygienist who wants to take their career to the next level by teaching and mentoring others. As the Lead Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch hygiene services to our patients, leading the recruiting, training, and onboarding of new dental hygienists, and developing and maintaining a positive team culture within the hygiene department.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Provide exceptional patient care through effective communication, clinical skills, and attention to detail.
- Team Leadership: Lead the hygiene team with confidence, integrity, and a clear vision for excellence.
- Mentorship: Mentor and teach new and existing hygienists on clinical techniques and best practices.
- Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with OSHA and dental regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with dentists and the management team to optimize patient care.
- Scheduling: Oversee hygiene schedules and manage day-to-day operations related to hygiene care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Dental Hygienist License for the state of Nebraska.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical hygiene experience.
- Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a management role.
- Teaching and Mentoring: Passion for teaching and mentoring others.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Talent Attraction: Ability to attract and retain talent in a team-based environment.
