OBJECTIVE:
Collaborate with designated clients to guarantee they receive the appropriate merchandise at optimal times and in suitable arrangements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procure products that meet the specific requirements of the client.Ensure effective presentation of merchandise within the store.Maintain strong professional relationships with clients.Conduct daily travel to client sites.Arrive punctually at client locations on the designated route for service.Rotate inventory and remove expired products.Handle merchandise returns and process credits in accordance with company guidelines.Maintain a tidy and organized display of UNFI products.Notify clients regarding product and/or delivery updates.Assist in the installation of shelf tags and promotional materials, as well as resets.Promote sales initiatives and programs as assigned.Execute responsibilities in line with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, as applicable.Address client product inquiries effectively.Keep management updated on regional activities and any notable issues.Participate in meetings as necessary.Provide support for other field sales representatives when required.Perform additional tasks as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification:
Possession of a valid driver's license is essential.Auto insurance coverage must meet UNFI standards.Experience:
Previous experience in customer service within a retail or grocery environment.Experience with system implementation is preferred.Skills/Competencies:
Exceptional customer service abilities.Strong communication skills.Effective time management and attention to detail.Basic mathematical skills.Ability to work autonomously.Physical Requirements:
Daily travel is mandatory, and access to a vehicle is required.Capability to enter and exit a vehicle multiple times throughout the day.Ability to drive safely in various conditions including urban, rural, and highway settings.Capacity to set up displays, fixtures, shelving, and products.Able to withstand exposure to store and warehouse environments, including varying temperatures, dust, and dirt.Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.All qualified candidates will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
