Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Day Treatment Assistant to join our team at Community Counseling Services, Inc. The successful candidate will provide support to clients in a day treatment program, promoting their mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the delivery of day treatment programs, providing support to clients as assigned.
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide day treatment services in compliance with DMH standards.
  • Document relevant events and provide input for the development of weekly summary progress notes and monthly reviews of service plan objectives.
  • Assist treatment team members with prior authorization processes as requested.
  • Attend and participate in clinical staffings as requested.
  • Respond to clients' needs in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; college work in behavioral science preferred.
  • Satisfactory completion of CPR prior to reporting to the work site.
  • Satisfactory completion of CPI within 30 days of employment.
  • Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
  • Ability to transport clients in a private vehicle when necessary.
  • Previous experience in a mental health setting and working with an SED population in a treatment setting strongly preferred.
