We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Communications Subject Matter Expert to support our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the NCTE Digital Radio Management System, assisting government clients.
- Design, develop, and implement networked Ultra High Frequency and Very High Frequency (UHF/VHF) communication systems and their components.
- Create and deploy network communication elements to facilitate the digitization of UHF/VHF Radio Frequency (RF) communication systems across the enterprise.
- Evaluate and recommend necessary communication materials to ensure the effective integration of new technologies into existing training environments.
- Provide ongoing support for communication systems across the enterprise.
- Analyze communication system issues and take prompt action to restore services.
- Oversee the installation of UHF/VHF radio communication systems and related components.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Background as an Electronic Technician or Information Technician.
- Proficiency with UHF/VHF communication systems.
- Knowledge of the planning, design, operation, testing, and maintenance of networked communication systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- CISCO CCNA certification.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required for this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to position oneself to move as needed.
- Must be stationary for 50% or more of the time.
- Occasionally required to move around the office environment.
- Effective communication skills are essential.
