The Omni Richmond Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator/Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive a 4-Diamond experience in accordance with Omni Standards.
Key Responsibilities- Housekeeping Operations: Assist in responding to guest requests, inspecting the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas, and ensuring that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
- Team Management: Assist in coaching and training Room Attendants, maintain supply cage stock, and ensure that the Guest Room Attendants linen cart is neat and well organized.
- Communication: Communicate with Room Attendants about daily assignments, and assist in processing AM and PM room status reports.
- Quality Control: Inspect Guest Rooms for 4-Diamond cleanliness standards, and ensure that VIP rooms are inspected by noon or earlier if noted.
- Safety and Security: Ensure that hotel, guest, and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
- Education and Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficient computer skills, experience with OPMS preferred but not required, flexible schedule, fluent in English, able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs, able to be on feet for 8 hours a day, effective problem solution skills, and strong attention to detail.
