We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Care Professional to join our team in the Same Day Surgery Unit. As a pre/post-op expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective care of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

About the Job
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the pre-operative and post-operative phases, prioritizing individualized needs and creating a supportive environment for optimal recovery.
  • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, plan and coordinate nursing care according to patient needs, and manage patients efficiently in the Same Day Surgery Unit.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience, with preference for post-anesthesia care experience; American Red Cross or American Heart Association certifications (BLS, ACLS, PLS) are necessary.
