Position Overview

As a Senior Clinical Application Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the experience of our healthcare teams by optimizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing accessible and effective specialty care through technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate EHR configuration meetings with stakeholders to ensure the successful development and implementation of essential application features that support AndHealth services.
  • Enhance system configurations and workflows to maximize EHR efficiency for AndHealth users.
  • Identify and rectify inconsistencies within EHR workflows, establishing and implementing best practice workflows across clinical teams.
  • Assist in creating custom templates and smart phrases tailored to the needs of AndHealth providers.
  • Provide on-site support to physicians, offering feedback and specialized user assistance.
  • Stay informed about advancements in EHR, Health Information Exchange (HIE), and clinical software technologies.
  • Deliver user support and troubleshooting, ensuring prompt resolution of complex issues to minimize disruptions in clinic operations.
  • Engage in training sessions with partners, becoming proficient in the functionalities utilized by AndHealth’s administrative and clinical staff.
  • Translate partner training into AndHealth best practices.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing EHR training for all AndHealth personnel, from providers to administrative support staff.
  • Enhance physician engagement and knowledge retention through effective training methods.
  • Update and refine training materials into targeted modules.
  • Create user-friendly reference materials for quick access to essential functionalities.
  • Highlight key differences in partner EHRs and develop tipsheets for efficient navigation.
  • Design auditing processes to ensure compliance with physician documentation standards required by our partners.
Qualifications

Education: A degree in computer science, management information systems, or information technology is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, NextGen) is required. Experience in project management is also beneficial.

  • Interdisciplinary and systems thinking approach.
  • Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Professional relationship-building skills and a strong work ethic.
