Job Summary

Vision House is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our childcare team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate positive relationships with children and families
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in coordination with other staff
  • Assess children's developmental needs and make recommendations for referrals
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff
  • Perform administrative tasks and maintain records
Requirements
  • Christian faith and ability to sign our Statement of Faith
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in childcare
  • Proof of physical exam and negative TB test
  • First Aid/CPR card within 90 days
  • Food Handlers Permit within 90 days
  • Proof of HIV/Blood Borne Pathogen training within 90 days
  • ECE Initial Certificate or equivalent
  • Progress towards an ECE Short Certificate
  • Ability to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs
