What You'll Do:
As a Per-Diem Behavior Technician, you will:
- Work one-on-one with clients in clinics, homes, and schools, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Assist clients in improving communication, social, and independent living skills.
- Collaborate with families and treatment teams to deliver effective support.
- Follow treatment plans and educate others about ABA interventions.
- Collect and maintain data, manage client program materials, and foster therapeutic relationships.
- Work per-diem, appointment-based schedules.
- Competitive Pay: $19/hr with mileage reimbursement.
- Professional development: Paid training and tuition assistance for qualified candidates; career pathways towards BCBA or administrative roles.
- Paid Time Off: 10 days of PTO plus 1 Joy Day, and 7 paid holidays.
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, voluntary short/long term disability, and 401K for eligible employees.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 6 months of experience with children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Must be able to travel to various service locations.
- Local travel (20% estimated) during business hours (7 AM - 7 PM).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities like walking and bending.
- Career pathways to BCBA and administrative roles.
- Monthly meetings for BCBA exam preparation.
