Job Overview:
The Integrated Technology & Engineering Team at Alpha Consulting Group Inc is in search of a skilled and experienced professional to join our ranks. Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Leadership: The selected candidate will spearhead the operationalization of automation and robotic initiatives within the Product Development division. This includes overseeing drug product automation activities, providing troubleshooting support as needed, managing the automation development project portfolio, and implementing tailored robotic capabilities across various organizational sites.
  • Analytical & Formulation Support: This role focuses on delivering automation support for formulation and analytical development projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the development and utilization of appropriate automation platforms that align with their project requirements. Typical support includes executing flexible methods for sample preparation, data analysis, and timely reporting of results.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field. A Master's or Ph.D. is highly desirable.

Experience:
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for 5-10 years of laboratory experience, particularly with liquid handling workstations. Experience with Unchained Labs, Chemspeed, and Hamilton Systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting for liquid handlers is essential.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with general-purpose programming languages (e.g., VB, Python, Perl, R, C++/C#), are preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, CE-SDS, iCE, and high-throughput purification is advantageous.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to liquid handling devices.
