As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our production lines. You will work with a variety of mechanical systems, collaborating closely with operations, safety teams, and maintenance leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance: Engage in troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance on production machinery and facilities, striving for excellence to deliver the best products to families.
  • Enhancing Performance Efficiency: Support operations by addressing mechanical failures and assisting with equipment setups and changeovers, demonstrating your commitment to quality.
  • Adhering to Best Practices: Follow and enforce established safety, health, and quality guidelines, ensuring compliance and contributing to our ongoing success.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • Journeyman's certification or a Mechanical/Technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting industrial machinery
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES

  • Experience in food manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Welding skills
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
