About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team at The Omni Dallas Hotel. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the operation of our kitchen, preparing a variety of dishes to meet the high standards of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of food items (hot and cold) for The Owners Box Kitchen within a timely manner, prioritizing tasks as necessary
  • Operate at least one station within the kitchen (Sauté, Grill, Garde Manger, others as assigned)
  • Maintain cleanliness of all hot and cold preparation stations, and all surrounding culinary areas
  • Organize and prepare both current and future requisitions
  • Effectively communicate relevant menu and dietary changes between all shifts

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of culinary experience preferred; well-versed in operation of at least one culinary station
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation, and safety
  • Ability to remain active, including standing for 8+ hour per day
  • Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays
