Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct daily inspections of conveyor systems, shipping, and packing equipment areas to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Utilize CMMS to document labor utilization and parts inventory use, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility, as assigned and according to schedule.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
Requirements
  • At least 36 months of previous facility maintenance experience, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical experience or understanding, with the ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing schematics.
  • Experience with conveyor mechanical systems, VFD motor controllers, motor starters, and control cabinets.
  • PLC knowledge, including input/output troubleshooting and programming.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and work at heights up to 35 feet above floor level.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions.
