Job Summary

ATS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing expert-level break-fix preventive maintenance, designing mechanical and electrical equipment improvements, and troubleshooting complex systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform expert-level break-fix preventive maintenance and design mechanical and electrical equipment improvements
  • Provide troubleshooting support on equipment and technical support on production lines
  • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of numerous systems
  • Perform research and procedures as required
  • Program, troubleshoot, and analyze complex control systems
  • Utilize predictive equipment and interpret results for analysis, equipment condition assessment, and proactive maintenance
  • Lead, drive, and participate in CI activities, including process improvements and cost savings
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary
  • Independently perform maintenance as per industry standards
  • Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards
  • May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations, including lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools
  • May perform welding tasks
  • Study and investigate technical and systems methods, tools, and innovations to improve maintenance practices
  • Prepare input for cost analysis for new equipment, repair/rebuild proposals, and cost savings
  • Update records and review CMMS history and analyze data
  • Provide technical contents of sales quotations and perform TM duties as required
  • Train and coach less proficient technicians
  • Assume project manager responsibilities as assigned
  • Complete and conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development
  • Follow all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in specific industry
  • Proficiency in predictive technologies, including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
  • Understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
  • Can analyze problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
  • Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
  • May be required to travel
  • Six Sigma experience desired
