Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief Financial Officer to join our fast-paced manufacturing company. As a key member of the executive management team, the CFO will report directly to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team.
  • Manage financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Review and optimize finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
  • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Optimize bank and deposit relationships and initiate strategies to enhance cash position.
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. Advanced degree or professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
