Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant/LPN

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team at Franciscan Health. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in a variety of outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and documenting care in electronic medical records.
  • Administer vaccines, injections, and medications under the supervision of RN/Provider.
  • Gather requirements from internal and external customers and provide information via phone, electronic messaging, and in person.
  • Initiate and follow through on prior authorizations, referrals, and process sample medications, prescriptions, and refills as directed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED - Required
  • Certificate or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting OR Associates in LPN - Required
  • 1-year Medical Assisting or LPN experience - Preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA; RMA; NCMA; CCMA) - Required within 6 months of hire OR valid LPN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire
