Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders, including speech, language, and oral motor dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients using standardized and non-standardized evaluation tools to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address patient goals and needs.
  • Provide education and instruction to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication skills and strategies.
  • Consult with medical and educational staff to promote patient communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathology License (Pennsylvania) and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
