Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in aligning user requirements, market potential, and business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical guidance on cross-disciplinary technology and product development initiatives.
  • Designing and establishing system architectures in partnership with technical and cross-functional teams.
  • Representing R&D in cross-functional deliverables.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders to grasp current and future market demands.
  • Translating high-level customer and business needs into precise technical specifications.
  • Ensuring the effective development and support of hardware, mechanical, electrode/lead, and software systems.
  • Creating and documenting system architectures and design control elements.
  • Defining and analyzing system requirements and workflows using systems engineering methodologies.
  • Identifying technical risks and formulating risk mitigation strategies.
  • Providing expertise for validation and verification processes.
  • Guiding projects to adhere to industry standards and assisting in the development of internal benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with Program Managers to strategize and execute projects within set timelines and budgets.
  • Driving detailed project planning, tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Managing technical dependencies and critical path elements.
  • Communicating project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of systems engineers on best practices in systems engineering.
  • Upholding high standards of technical rigor throughout all phases of the program.

Qualifications:

BS in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (8 years with a Master's, 5 years with a PhD).
