We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to neonates and infants in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical nursing duties for neonates and infants, including assessments, interventions, and support for developmental stages.
- Recognize and respond promptly to acute changes in neonate/infant's condition, as well as emergency situations in the NICU and other hospital departments.
- Provide support and teaching to the family unit, promoting a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, utilizing verbal and written skills to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- At least one year of NICU RN experience
