Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of overall IT experience, with a preference for technology infrastructure expertise.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing large-scale projects, alongside a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office Suite.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and financial management skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement management, including the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
  • PMP Certification through PMI or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Familiarity with VITA's Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system is highly desirable.
  • Experience with core Commonwealth IT procurement processes is preferred.
