Role Summary: The Automation Systems Technician will be integral in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of control systems at Henis Group's facilities. This position encompasses not only controls work but also a variety of hands-on industrial maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be prepared to engage in practical tasks, possess a solid background in industrial maintenance, and seek a long-term career with opportunities for advancement. A Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is advantageous, as the company emphasizes continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of control systems to guarantee optimal operation of manufacturing machinery.
  • Conduct general maintenance activities, including repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to enhance processes and minimize downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to ensure peak equipment performance and dependability.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance tasks and keep accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance efforts.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in industrial maintenance, particularly with control systems.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred.
  • Proficient mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting abilities.
  • Willingness to undertake a diverse range of tasks, including maintenance work beyond controls.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
