Position Overview: We are seeking skilled Floor Technicians to maintain and enhance the cleanliness of various flooring types within an industrial setting.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Compensation: $17 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning and upkeep of all floor surfaces, including tile, carpet, and brick.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with established guidelines.
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including the use of appropriate signage for wet floors.
- Perform restroom cleaning duties, which include restocking supplies, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, and mopping floors.
- Manage furniture movement, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
- Execute various cleaning tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, and glass spot cleaning.
- Address incidental spills and maintain cleanliness in flooded areas as required.
- Restock cleaning carts and supply closets at the end of each shift.
- Carry out all responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Report any safety hazards encountered during work.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned work hours.
Note: Candidates will be subject to background checks and drug screenings.
